The current V60 arrived for the 2019 model year on Volvo's SPA (Scalable Product Architecture), the same platform underpinning the S60 sedan and larger 90-series cars. Pre-purchase review
The V60 Cross Country is generally solid, but the recurring complaint is the Sensus infotainment system, which can freeze, reboot or lose CarPlay connectivity; a software update or module replacement usually helps. Owners have also reported occasional issues with the 12-volt/48-volt electrical management, engine mounts that wear on higher-mileage cars, and PCV or oil-consumption quirks on the 2.0 turbo.
Germany and Europe
US cars run miles and Fahrenheit, use amber rear indicators without a rear fog lamp, and carry US-market lighting aim and daytime running light behaviour.
